I had filled out the sheet to opt out of the play, so unfortunately I can't complete that part of the critique, but I can answer the last question of "what are 3 things I can do to address racism and social injustice in my everyday life". I already don't do this, but will continue to not take part in related conversations, I will treat everyone I come across with equality and kindness as well

1) The Chris
2) Obed, Bryan, Roman, Estevan 3) It was sort of a horror film about a masked man going around murdering people. It shows how the Chris had the power to go around the school killing people, without them being able to stop him. 4) I liked how throughout the entirety of the film, it was in a colorless footage, which I liked, and I think it helped in creating a sense of mystery and horror. 5) One thing I think would be cool, is if the lighting changed when ever someone died, such as it going black or the lights flashing 1) A long shot is used at 0:03 seconds
2) At 0:10 it changes to a medium shot 3) Between 0:16 and 0:22 a cutaway is used to replace the current shot of the man sitting at the chair, but then it cutaway again and goes back to the man in the chair 4) The camera changes to a long shot of the man, then the camera angle changes position, relating to the man. 5) I observe a lot of cutaways and changes in the camera angle, depending on the movement of the man and where he is going. 6) His movements and dancing relates to the song in the A-roll, because it is more of a funky song, and his movements and dancing goes well with the song 1)This film is drama, because at the beginning it seemed very dramatic to me, when it was talking about the events that had occurred.
2) The camera was moving pretty slow, everything going on was not happening at a fast pace. Everything was edited to make the room and the faces of the people seem very dark or dim. 3) The first thing I saw was the man sitting in the chair, then it moved to the other man, and the 2 of them sitting at the table talking. 4) He incorporated power, through having the man come to the Godfather for help, because the Godfather had power. 5)This had no effect on me, I never had interest in seeing this film, and I still have no interest in ever seeing it, because this film is not the kind of film that interests me. 1) I would say that this is an adventure film, because of the fact that Kubo is going on a journey to learn about the life of his father.
2) This film was very loud and fast paced, probably as a result of it being very adventurous. 3)The structure seems chronological which makes it easy to keep track with, beginning with Kubo going on an adventure, and leading to him finding companions and fighting evil. 4) I believe the audience to be people who enjoy stop motion and adventure/mystery films, where the main character must go on a journey in order to discover information about either his past or that of someone he knows. 5) I now would kind of like to see the film, even though I have not alway been a huge fan of stop motion, but this film seems like it could be very interesting. |
